Again, I'm not necessarily the person to start this conversation, because it's not something I know much about. What I do know is that there is a lot of information related to nutrition and the disease of alcoholism/addiction and that very few people are aware of it. I will tell you that I do not believe in diets at all. Meaning, I believe in nutrition, not in dieting in the conventional sense of the word. I am also very sensitive to the fact that I know many, many of us who have alcoholism may also have eating disorders. I trust that this discussion does not turn into ways to "lose weight fast" or anything even remotely similar to what we see/hear/read in popular media. I know some of the people who are interested in sharing information about nutrition would never perpetuate that kind of information, but want to be clear about what I envision for this thread, and hope you all agree. I look forward to hearing from people who DO know more about this and are willing to take the time to share it with all of us. Thank you!
